Corwin? Ya you need atleast i think 128mb or 256MB in there to start it up.
i use 133's in my Snow White G3 w/ No problem at all.

i think i installed the wrong AHT for this unit. (labeled as "iMac 4,1" in
OF) as copying the AHT's folder to the boot drive, has oit booting from
network first before searching the internal hdd
does anyone have the AppleHardwareTest disc for this Model?

Most likely but i wanted to get a opnion,
yesterday i had to rush to shut it off as we had storm here and i didnt
have it on surge protector, i had to flat out pull the cable (a few moments
later luckily i did as power went out and the Breaker tripped in teh main
room) i turned it on today as
i picked up a G3 (233) on the street before the snowfall began last year,
and i didnt see it at first but the Monitor tube is damaged, (blow out and
neck was smashed off.) i extracted it's mainboard which LOOKS intact but i
see the mainboard interfaces on the monitor's side for power,

is it possible to get DVD Playback in OS9 from a USB DVD Drive? i
have from my Windows PC a USB DVD Drive i've gotten the imac to read
it and view files off discs in it but a DVD Disc in it.. the mac wont
show it as a DVD Disc (you dont see the DVD-Video Disc Icon just a
Data Disc Icon)
