I have an eMac 512MB 800mhz I think it's also known as G4 power PC. I'm looking to make some upgrades. I have just installed and got it up and running with Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) I heard it is the latest version I can Install on this emac. I would like to do some upgrades...
1- Is the RAM, since it's 512MB I just ordered through ebay another memory RAM for 512MB too. I think it would allow me to install a higher version of Mac OS X, well that's what I read somewhere in a blog, and I would apreciate an advice on that too. 2- I'm looking to upgrade the USB ports, which are 1.0 versions and I would love to get some advice too on how to upgrade them to 2.0 since I'm looking to use a USB microphone and do some basic voice recordings. How do I go about these 2 things? And also, is it possible without being too much expensive to upgrade the 800mhz to something higher?
