You do not need XPostFacto. You need the correct Firmware upgrade and then a clean install. I have successfully done tis to iMac G3 400MHz and Panther plus iMac G4 600MHz and Tiger. I don't like Tiger on a G3 iMac. It works but slower than I would like. Panther seems faster for the G3 iMac but
