I ran ZoneAlarm Pro on my IMail server. There was once I did a mass mailing
to my customers, the "vsmon.exe" component scaled up to 100% CPU.
I have since disabled "MailSafe" Email protection feature in ZoneAlarm and had
no problem since.

Yes if you consider (as I do) 1MB to be 2**20.
Note that binary stuff expands when encoded so keep that in mind when
people complain about 2.9MB

I had crazy problems with POP3 and Imail altogether when both Imail and SQL
were running on the same server. Dunno if this is the case with you. After I
split them to different servers, it has been running flawlessly (well
...almost).

directory and also exclude .mbx and .~mb just to be safe.
