Sounds like it's the A record, not the PTR. You can manually add the
glue record (NS + IP), but that won't add the A automatically. The

Thanks for your response Len. I went ahead and added the PTR record for
ns.pixel8.com and added a PTR record that matches ns.pixelfarm.com.
My issue still exists within the DNS of 2003 not being able to resolve it's

Hi Michael-
I've been running a W2003 DNS server for over a year, and W2000 for five
years or so, and I have noticed no weirdness whatever. I write my own zone
files, though, and do not use the DNS manager or AD on my public DNS boxes.
If you add the new name server as an NS record in the zon

Is this the 2006.01 or plain 2006? That makes a world of difference.

Taking a wild guess but I would start by double checking all your DNS
settings and DNS server setup. Do the Imail logs have any info that might
help? How about stopping and starting the services or rebooting? Do all the
desired services start?

We are trying to install a test version of imail 2006 on a windows 2000 server.
The install worked and we can login as the admin and it says we added a domain.
Our problem is when we add users or try to configure the domain, we get this

The answer is no – got that from tech

Has anyone written a script to pull these

The install went without a hitch on my new windows server 2003
standard server. I have not had any problems reported and did not
have to perform any of the permissions manually. I did have these
problems the first time around.

If you do a clean install, you will not be able to enter
more than one address in the Relay ACL. Although it will import correctly if you
upgrade an older version. Tech support said they were aware of the
issue.

It's the standard port 443. They can get to the login page over SSL and
other SSL enabled sites. It's just when they try to login.

Is it possible that the dial-up isp is not allowing access to the port that you are running the Imail ssl on?
