Go to www.virustotal.com and upload it

Anyways, what AV are you using on your

I'm having problems sending to Verizon this afternoon. I can't tell
if it's us or them.
It's them! :)
Yhey've decided, by some voodoo, that they don't like you.
It's an OLD story I've seen many times with my IMGate clients.
You'll have to contact them and get yourself unlisted.

Only if you plan on going larger than 2 GB. It is kind of a manual process. Create a new PST file. Ti will ask you which type. Then import everything from the old PST to the new PST. Make the new PST the default deliver PST for that profile. The newer PST can go as high as 10 GB i think?

I get the old PST working, do you recommend I upgrade? Any advantages? I was
thinking it would probably store more efficiently and drop her file size??
Thanks Travis - I knew I could count on you to answer

You need work 2003 with Outlook 2003 yes. Not sure how you get Outlook without Word. The file format will stay in the old format until you upgrade the file format. It will work quite easily for you.

Does anyone have any advice for me about upgrading a single user from
Outlook 2K to Outlook 2K3?
I have been reading about how the old PST format is ANSI and the new format
is Unicode. My boss's PST file is about a gig and a half in size so that's
why I am upgrading just her. I am a little nervou
I think that's up to you to decide but for our business
having MxGuard, Fprot, ClamAv, URI and MessageSniffer was a much
cheaper option with arguably better AV and equal antispam. Since the
only people I've heard rave about Imail Secure were Imail staff I can't
say if it's worth the money or no
I got the letter today for the renewal ("crossgrade") of our Unlimited license,
with an option for the "Secure Edition Unlimited" crossgrade.
While it indicates integrated A/V with the Symantec App and
anti-spam technology, is it worth an extra $2650?
Hard to imagine, but has anyone done it and

Has anyone else received this? Is this some kind of joke? If it is then I
will have to ask Ipswitch to remove me from their "joke list". I already
get enough of those from my friends and this one really wasn't funny!

Demoting is unquestionably preferable to
just yanking the box. Of course if the box is faulty/failing then all bets are
off. As long as the FSMO and GC roles are transferred I don’t see a long
term problem with just yanking the box except that is not considered the right
way

If you do not demote it, AD will believe
it still exists and continue to try to contact it from any other DC and
replicate to it. You will a lot of errors and warnings in the various event
logs of any other DCs. If you should ever happen to bring another computer on

Thanks, got the Global Catalog role transferred and replication seems to
be working fine.
I was
planning on leaving the old DC up for the rest of the week "just in
case".
I was
just curious as to exactly what demoting it does as opposed to transferring
everything manually
You might want to consider making sure you
transfer Global Catalog role to the new DC as well. AND make sure you give
sufficient time for replication before initiating the demotion.
Thank you,

You'll want to demote it so AD is properly cleaned up. Just pulling
a DC leaves a mess.
Hope this helps.
