bypassing the MX records when sending mail. I leave port 25 open because my
customers (using SMTP AUTH) use the Imail server for outgoing mail.

Trying to figure out how to allow a single server (on Windows 2003
server with IIS) to serve up webmail for over 100 virutal domains. It
appears that squirrelmail is hardcoded for one. Looked at the virtual
admin plugin but it looks like its for Apache.
Anyone already been there, done that?
Slightly off topic:
How well does the Message Sniffer work on IMGate? The web
site info looks good but I was wondering if the additional
money is worth it. I mean, how much more percentage wise
(than a standard IMGate using RBL) can the Message Sniffer
stop? Anyone ever do any benchmarks?
Looking around for something that runs under IIS and
includes ASP source. I also see POP3 webmail programs and
wonder how they would scale when users have very large (50
meg or more) mailboxes. I was under the impression that IMAP
was the only way to go for Webmail access.
Thanks!

Hi,
Anybody know if its possible to copy the spellcheckers
data file off the fileserver and onto a local users PC?
I have a heavy KWM/Spell-check user and he occasionally
gets an error where the spell-check fails to load correctly
and he essentially loses his document when then escapes the
Check for a space after the word :NUL on each of your IMA entries.
This happened to me. I had put a few spaces in and had to delete them.

Len,
Do you send an email to the people whose email was blocked because of an
attachment. Is there a way to do that with IMGate/Postfix? I would like to
explain to people why they were being blocked and tell them to rename the
file or whatever.
Thanks!

Sorry about the long subject line.
I would like to automate sending a message whenever our users get sent an
email with certain forbidden attachments like .v b s and .e x e and others.
I have an IMA rule to look for the presence of the attachments. I then FWD

Hi, Is there a way to use the RBL with IMail
If I was going to decide I would ask myself:
Pro IMGate
1) Do I know unix or want to know unix.
2) Do I have the space for another box (or two)
3) Do I want to spend the money for the hardware
4) Do I have the time to learn how to get all the
pieces that make up IMGate
5) Is my customer base

I am getting ready to switch my relay to local addresses only and force

Every time I explain something it usually generates 20 more questions grin

Please note in the script above I put 'eol in the script to denote end of line

Other than the registry growing is there an upper limit on number of user

Any ISP's have a LARGE numbers of users that are not using ODBC and
