Hello
I am upgrading from a server running 6.02 Imail to
a new server that will be running 8.02. Both versions are the
unlimited. I can't get my users to migrate from one to the other.
Does anyone know of the best way to proceed with this type of
upgrade.
Thanks in advance,
Bill
I am recieving the following error on just a few
email address on on domain in our sever. Does anyone have an idea of what
is going on. The server is setup as with no mail relay and the other
domains can send to it fine, but external domains cannot get to it. If
anyone has any ideas please
can deliver mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] can they deliver to [EMAIL PROTECTED]? If so you need to add
the Host Alias of edwpub.com to the iw.edwpub.com domain setup in
IMail.
Hope this helps

I have seen one front end that was for sale. It is listed on the

Gentlemen,
This is a very good recommendation. Memory is back on the rise and it
is starting to go up very quick. My recommendation is to buy more then you
need due to the low cost right now, but buy fast.

Completely Agree. You can pick up a 512M chip on crucial.com for about
$60
now. A year ago it was around $300-$400.

I have some of the same questions, but if your file structure is the same I
believe that data replication services within W2K could work. Someone
please correct me if I am wrong.

No not hot-mirrored registry, but if you figure that one out you should be
able to make some good $$$. If the users are setup on both boxes, using
data replication on his folder should work.

Is it possible to make the password field just
plain text in your imail administer. I want to completely reload my mail
server and need all of my users passwords.
I am aware of that functionality but want to
rebuild from scratch if possible any other ideas.

Lee,
I would advise more memory and a bigger drive. Users seem to store more
data now a days and i don't think a 20 Gb HD will last that long. On the
memory side 128 Meg meets iMails requirements, but always remember that the
more memory you put towards your server, the better the
