I have
been using Imail since version 5, and am presently running 7.04 with all the
patches.
OS is
Win2k workstation with Norton Anti Virus 2002 scanning everything except the
Imail directory and it's sub-directories.
I run
Declude Anti-Virus and F-Prot DOS
Version 7 seems pretty stable now and virtually all known problems have
been repaired. It seems to me that Imail works best on a new, fresh OS
install with plenty of resources and playing by itself. I also think it
works best using the registry database.

I started using Imail with 7.0 version (now I have v7.04, hot fix 2) in a
brand new computer with a brand new Windows Nt 4.0 service pack 6.0 three
months ago.
This computer is used exclusively for Imail server and I have less than 500
users. Undoubtly, the ideal scenary.

On the LDAP issue, if you need LDAP access from Web E-mail be sure and talk with HKSI
on there add-on piece that has LDAP lookup from web e-mail. Works well...
This list is very good at assistance on iMail and other issues.
There are rumblings on the list but that only means that
