The program is very simple: It goes through an IMail log file to report on mail that is bouncing or blocked. This includes mail that bounces for normal reasons (such as "No such user" due to a typo), and more importantly blocked E-mails (for example, if your E-mail is blocked due to your IP address being in a spam list). It is useful for tracking down IMail "Unknown user" bounces.
The program can be found at http://www.declude.com/tools . To see all bounces from today, go to a command prompt in the \IMail\spool directory, and type "BounceFinder sys0826.txt". You can also add words that must appear in the To/From/Error, and/or words that must not appear. For example, "BounceFinder sys0826.txt [EMAIL PROTECTED]" will only show bounces that involve [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or, "BounceFinder sys0826.txt -osirusoft" would show all bounces except those that contain "osirusoft" (in the To/From E-mail addresses, or the error message).
You may be surprised at how much E-mail is being blocked, typically by poorly designed anti-spam software.
