Mark,
Thanks for that insightful mail. I was also contemplating the 'Whys' and
'Why-nots'
before I drafted that mail, which is the reason I got curious to get the
authoritative word on it.

Thanks Joel. I think I got clarified on the issue.
Though as you say Courier supporting would not make
it a natural option in IMAP one would think.
Thanks

Hello,
I know this could be a trivial question. But I would like hear the
authoritative
answer on it.
I read recently in one of the popular network books which read
"Unlike POP3, IMAP can also accept outgoing e-mail for shipment to the
destination as well as deliver incoming e-mail."

It comes a rude surprise to us all ! But let me not forget

Thanks for all your support.

Hello Mark,
I am working on getting the c-client working
on Win CE platform. I am using Visual Studio 2005
with Windows Mobile Pocket PC SDK.
I saw makefiles and some files under osdep/wce,
but using them still throws lot of build errors as
io.h, sys/types.h, time.h includes fail.
Is there

Hello list,
I was wondering if IMAP server (the protocol) supports selective
mailpart deletion
instead of deleting the entire message. If so, is it supported by
c-client's IMAP client too?
If not, is it possible to mimic this behavior in the client side ?
Appreciate your clarifications.

Hello list and Mark,
I was successful in my efforts to build UW-c-client on
Windows XP and Visual Studio 6. I found out that the
SSL library used by c-client in Windows is secur32.lib
and cryt32.lib.
I would like c-client to use the OpenSSL Windows port ?

Hello,
I am presently working on an email client on top of UW c-client.
I am trying to bring in leave mails on server feature as in many other
clients.
My interest lies in knowing if c-client supports POP UIDs and if so
where and how to manage these with c-client API.
