When we first installed postgrey on our systems, we saw some of the same problems. The default error response (I don't remember what is was) from the postgrey package we installed did not work with some windows mail servers. They either did not resend, or they would resend every few seconds. W

Off topic, but Is anyone here using smartermail to host many email domains (1500+) on a single server? Imail pretty much falls apart (high cpu time) somewhere between 1300 - 1800 domains, depending on hardware. I am on the verge of converting to a Postfix+MySQL+Courier+SpamAssassin+Clamav
