I expect this really varies by location. In my area (Washington County, Oregon)
these streams were quite useless. Most of them were just plain gone, replaced
by farm fields or suburban housing
Hi,
Here are the properties of an example multipolygon:

already there (because that's the "standard")"
Well, I'm not sure. My humble experience shows that there are very thorough
mappers who e.g. always add a "source"
The major issue I see with blindly importing NHD data is it's attributes CAN
NOT be relied upon. Your import might end up extremely fragmented. I work
with a lot with streams that in one segment have a name and the Perennial
tag, the next segment no name and the artificial channel tag. I really

Let me put it this way. Some guy in the past has already converted the CLC
dataset to .osm. I don't have the smallest clue who did it and
Hi,
in fact CLC data is not so accurate, as the patch size should be at a
minimum of 25ha and the segment minimum length of 100m ! it's not bad when
looking the data at a small scale, but when using a high zoom level it's
not so good ...
May I suggest to use the word "CLC" or "Corinne" in your so

More than about one third of Hungary has already been imported from the CLC
dataset by others. The following tag is used for attribution:
source=© EEA, Koppenhága (2009); Készítette a FÖMI a KvVM megbízásából
(2009)
I'm not a lawyer but I think this tagging is correct. see
