Are we legally allowed to redistribute the nice new background images included
in OpenSolaris 2008.11? I'm thinking specifically of the OpenSolaris-branded
desktop backgrounds. Basically I would like to offer them as a seperate
download on my website.
Thanks
Andrew.

Because for the base OS, man pages are all bunched into the SUNWman
package, so you either get all of them or none. This is a holdover

Hi Masafumi,
Yes, these are great news indeed for the usability of OpenSolaris
on the Eee PC. I just tried the atge driver from:
http://homepage2.nifty.com/mrym3/taiyodo/eng/
on my Eee PC 900 and it seems to work fine.
Thanks a lot to Murayama-san for developing all these NIC drivers.
I suppose

I recently updated a server from snv91 to snv101b, and now when ever i use
mod_authnz_ldap to authenticate sites, apache segfaults.
I'm not really sure how to gather more debugging information, the apache logs
say this:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] is the best place for this topic,
so I'll move it there. If anyone else interested, follow it on

I notice from http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=4887#c6 that
this bug has been fixed in Nevada build 105. Is it possible to apply this fix
to 2008.11 without recompiling any binaries? If so - what is the fix?
Thanks
Andrew.

I am trying to install opensolaris 2008/11 rc2 build on macbook pro. I am
trying to do dual boot on same machine. Installation fails saying :

Have you looked at this?

Thanks for responding.
yes, I have looked at it. However my steps are little different. I have
installed refit. I shrinked the partition using diskutil command (not gparted).
Since I installed Fedora 10 on it so I used fdisk from fedora 10 (similar to
what is mentioned using gparted cd). I created
