Relative Solaris n00b,
Having a hard time deciding what distribution to go for.
Something Nexenta derived or Opensolaris derived...
E.g.
GNU/Solaris Kernel & core apps "OR"
Opensoalris/Solaris kernel & core apps
I'm quite familiar with GNU/Linux distributions, particularly Debian-based

Personally I find OpenSolaris main to be great but I hear Nexenta is really
good to...it's really up to you to try both and see which one suits you
better
