Simon, What type of monitor you have? I've tested the Nvidia 169.12 driver at the 1920x1080 resolution with my Nvidia 6200 using the OpenSolaris 2008.05 distro. Resolutions came up fine, so could it be a EDID glitch in the driver with some monitors? If you go to System->Preferences->Screen Re

I've successfully installed RC2a on my Ultra 20 - record time and no significant problems, great stuff. I was able to do this because, despite the fact the installer detected 640x480 as the display mode, it now has scroll bars so I could actually press the buttons :-) However, my installed
