Acer Travelmate 5720 works like a charm, if you can find one..fairly

I run OpenSolaris on both a Toshiba M9 and a Toshiba M10. Both work
very well with OpenSolaris.
I like the performance of the M10, though it is a tad bit heavier and
bulkier.
However, there is a bug with the CD/DVD USCSI driver on the M10 which
causes cdda2wav, sound-juicer and brasero t
Compaq 8510w: Perfect laptop for professional use, with great graphics and
fantastic resolution, but more on the expensive side.
I haven't bothered to get these components running, so I don't know if there are
supported in the meantime:
- fingerprint sensor
- modem
- SD card interface.
