the plant is hirsute, even the bracts are much different than V.
chinensis.
observe the corolla tube, in V. chinensis the parallel streaks are
absent. the calyx lobes have a line of hairs which is absent in V.

and i havn't seen any fruits to European Laburnum. i did not take any picturs
