I cropped one from a zoom pic... which is the best I can find... hope it does for your information... tell me what info you derive from this pic.. AND RITESH and PANKAJ... tell how to really photograph an orchid not just for beauty but for scientific information.... generally I dont like to take flowers apart and take petals etc... when in wild.. I dont mind doing it to bought plants or flowers... @ Pankaj... its wild... not planted by human hands... quite common it seems in Bengal, at least when we were young, my sister remembers these in south 24 paraganas on mango trees... and if you read the last paragraph !!carefully :) !! our rules of serendipity that day was NATURAL..not man made... and it also in the story.. in a village across the ganges from Calcutta... :)...
