Dear friends,

I missed a lots of interactions in the group during last few weeks mainly
due to short of time. Sorry about that. Last week I was in the ICSB
conference here in Oxford, USA.
I fully agree with Gurcharan ji's honoring of Pankaj Kumar. I don't think
it is about personal. Appropriate behavior in a mixed public forum like eFI
is essential in maintaining a decorum and cordial atmosphere in the group.
The title "most matured person in the group" explains the evolution of a
particular member's attitude in the group (not in personal life, as we have
not seen many members and do not know all personally). We can not forget
the 'shock treatments' received by Pankaj in the beginning and fortunately
he used them positively as stepping stones and thus he has now reached
great heights and got this title. This is really a great achievement,
Pankaj! Congrats. There is a proverb in Tamil. The paddy stands rigid and
straight when there is nothing inside, but it bows and bends its head
(panicle) when it develops stuff (grain) inside. Maturity is measured by
simplicity and forgiveness and not by anything else, if I am right.

Thanks & regards

Vijay
