Thanks Radha, Aneeta and Viplav. I have checked stipules as suggested by Radha and they tally with F exasperata. The venation and leaf thickness also match with F exasperata. My plant and Aneeta's plant seem to be coppiced forms of A. Exasperata. Thanks for sharing this new observation.
