I suggest if your camera is able to then take some 3  to 7 bursts in one
click
it can be programmed in most cameras now a days
then you can be sure that one of the bursts or series would be in focus
I found in a recent trip that when rushing to keep up with the fellow
travellers I could not look to see if i got  every part in focus
this burst came in handy, but i had learnt it at the tail end of the trip!!!
