Thank you for the compliments.  It is fortunate that personal circumstances
have permittedme to continue to contribute at this level.  I must in the coming
days focus on finalising theMarch Journal of the Himalayan Plant Association.
Currently making final preparations to travel (by bus and train) to give an

Dear members,
Sh. Chris Chadwell is the Star Expert of previous month with 69 messages mostly
dealing with the identifications. He is the Expert contributor about Ladakh &
Himalayan plants.  His web-site (http://www.shpa.org.uk/) introduces some of
his activities including a serious interest in Ladakh flora over a period of 36
years. Indeed it is fair to say he has devoted my life to the study of
Himalayan flora, particularly in what I would describe as the borderlands of
Western Tibet. He is making a worthwhile contribution to our site for species
from Ladakh, the Western Himalaya in general and the other parts of the
Himalaya to a lesser extent - which will compliment the existing expertise of
those who post and make suggestions identification-wise. His familiarity with
the flora lies primarily in mountain plants. I thank Chadwell ji for your
wonderful contributions to efloraofindia.--
