India and Sri Lanka; in the *Western Ghats - Agasthyamalai, Anaimalai,
Palani hills and Nilgiri, between 1600 and 2000 m*.

*Casearia wynadensis*
Understroey trees in wet evergreen forests up to 1000 m.
Endemic to the *Western Ghats- western Anaimalai, Palakkad hills, Wayanad
and Sringeri Region*.


Thus, these may not have scope in districts of Thane, Pune and Nashik.
