https://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/South-Indian%20Commiphora.html gives Kiluvai as the Tamil name for C. caudata. https://www.jstor.org/stable/4110543 states "leaflets acute, terminal one (sub)sessile" for var. pubescens. (As opposed to "leaflets long-acuminate, terminal one petiolate" for var. caudata). So perhaps the tree is C. caudata var. pubescens.
