I think ID is correct.
Also called Saint John's wort is the source of the drug Hypericin.
The leaf if held against a light source e.g.sun will appear to be full of 
minute translucent dots(glandular tissue) looking like pores.
It is used in herbal medicine as an antibiotic and in Chinese medicine as 
an antidepressant.
