The synonym was confusing to me
  Ficus nitida Thunb. = Ficus benjamina L. var. benjamina
  Ficus nitida auct non Blume = Ficus microcarpa
I checked with the drawing in Flora of Pakistan
   http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=50208&flora_id=2
and the leaves and fruit agree quite well with my plant. Particularly
the veins near the leaf base is the same.
However, my plant still looks different from those in Gurcharan ji's
pictures and also from the images of Ficus microcarpa on FOI
   http://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/slides/Laurel%20Fig.html
By the way, there exists a ficus microcarpa var. nitida too.
   Clarifications are welcome.
