This is to inform that I have taken the initiative to arrange the Workshop on Angiosperm taxonomy at Blatter herbarium , St. Xavier's college, Mumbai, from 18 November to 20 November 2010. Maximum 10 students can be accomodated in the herbarium library room. We are seven already confirmed and have maximum three seats available for those from Mumbai interested in attending and availing this learning opportunity. The workshop will be mainly conducted by Dr. Almeida with the help from the staff of St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.
Some amount of basic knowlegde of plants is essential to be able to benefit from this workshop which will emphasis more on families. The cost for two days is Rs 2500.There will be one day field trip in and around Mumbai on 20 November 2010, last day of workshop, for which the cost will be actuals.
