I do have another suggestion.
There can be a separate thread to which members can upload pictures for
best photographs (best series can still be in the usual threads).
Should keep a unique subject line for identification and further reference
for data base and all as usual.
This might enables members to compare pictures and it would be easy to
search for pictures as well if the pictures competing for best picture of
the month is in the same thread.
