The picture you have is of seed-pods. Most related species died down to the bulb in winters, and what remans visible are these strange red seed-pods. I can say something to differentiate the species by looking at the flowers. But I am not able to favour one species over the other by looking at the seep-pods, maybe some others might be able to. - Tabish
