Yes, this is Butea parviflorus Roxb. ex DC. and now Spatholobus
parviflorus (Roxb. ex DC.) O. Ktze. as per BSI flora. Locally this is
known as Palshin or sister of Palas owing to the similarity in leaves
and is very often mis-identified as Butea superba. Even the pod of S.
parviflorus resembles that of B. superba very much. I am yet to see
Butea superba in flowers in Maharashtra over my search for last 10
years, if anyone has seen pls let me know. Rgds
