I've just started looking at cvs and I have a quick question (novice
level).
I have a number of modules in an archive each with their own
public_headers directory that I want to combine into a single
public_headers directory when the project is checked out.
i.e.

First, try using cvs-1.11.
If that doesn't work, take a look at the patches I've posted in SourceForge
under project RCVS. I think I submitted a patch to "correct" this behaviour.
IIRC, there was some discussion about this. Some people prefer the current
behaviour. I prefer what you expect.

Hi,
We are using CVS 1.10 in professional context. We have a strange problem
: when we update our directory local, some files edited, but not
modified, lost their "edited" properties.
An example :
In directory src/ we have two files file1.c and file2.c. These two files

Hi Amparo,
If you are talking about an integration of Remedy Admin Tool with
CVS, I do not know about such a creature. I've written an ARSPerl
script, for taking snapshots from AR System to keep workflow
definitions in CVS.

Yes, but you have to check out the top-level module before you can add
to it (you can use -l to avoid having to check out the entire contents

Add only works in a CVS workspace. You have to do a checkout first. If
you're trying to add a new (toplevel) module

You can generate it from the sources using the texi2html script, but I put one
online at:
http://alumni.engin.umich.edu/~oberon/cvs1-11.html.tar.bz2
and
http://alumni.engin.umich.edu/~oberon/cvs1-11.html.tgz

I was searching for a HTML version.
