Hi,
We have developed a new way to search through
source code that makes use of CVS comments.
You can try out a demo for KDE code at:

Hi,
I have the following scenario:
1. I checked out branch VERSION-A
2. I modified some files locally
3. I want to create from the these files VERSION-B
CVS asks me to commit the modified files first. But I would commit them
to VERSION-A, though they should not exist in VERSION A.
Any ideas?

I ran across an interesting problem yesterday, I was wondering if this is a

I believe this is a known problem, at least it's a problem that we are,
unfortunately,
very familiar with at my site. It has nothing to do with WinCVS I
believe. My slightly vague understanding is that it has something to do
with CVS imperfectly dealing with the fact that files are case
Hello,
I'm new at this WinCVS stuff. Last week I set up a CVSNT server
on a win2k box. I also installed the wincvs client on a couiple

The clients are 1.1b17, the server 1.10.8
I was able to successfully import one project, and then check it out
from one of the clients. There are
Hello.
I am trying to get cvs working on a remote machine using the pserver
method, with multiple repositories for multiple users. All of the
repositories live on the same remote machine.
I have added multiple allow-root statements to the line in the servers
inetd.conf file:
