Hello to all,
I'm having a problem using CVS 1.11.2 over ssh. Specific error message is
below. I've looked for stale lock files, checked permissions on the
repository as well as the val-tags file - any ideas would be appreciated.
I've checked the logs and nothing shows up there either.

I just accidently checked a number of files in that I did not want to. (i.e.
I forgot to specify the filename when checking it in and it checked a load
of files in with the wrong description and so on.
I know I could just get the old version, and check that in overtop of the
incorrect one. But I

cvs admin -o will do that, but be very careful -- that can mess up

I have tested this. It is repeatable on solaris 2.8. I setup two
workareas from the same repo/module and commited at the same time,
one proceeded one got the waiting on lock. Once the one waiting on
lock gets the lock, it core dumps.
Please take a look at this. Our integration with another tool
Don't know about best, but we are using TortoiseCVS at our shop and it is
working well for us. It nicely integrates into Windows Explorer on our 2K
desktops.
