Resonable Place for LockFiles?

Hi, What is a reasonable place for LockDir Directive in CVSROOT/Config?? Can i put it anywhere in the filesystem?? Should i put it outside of the repository? Can I just say LockDir=CVSROOT/LockDir which seems to me a reasonable place. any hints? regards, janning vygen -- Planwerk 6

syncing two sandboxes?

Hi, we use a repository on our server and i use a local sandbox to do my work on a website. But i have a second sandbox server-side. This sandbox is used to let other people look via browser what i have already done before committing changes. No i have a lot of changes in my local sandbox. Is

How can i easily remove all files in a sandbox which are 1. not yet registered in the repository via cvs add /cvs import 2. are ignored by .cvsignore or internal ignore list (like .o ~ etc.) sometimes (not very often :-) i feel satisfied with my results in the sandbox and i am commiting my stuf
