Hello everyone, I am relatively new to CVS, having used Source Safe and StarTeam in the past. I am using CVS to track web development projects. I would like to be able to export from CVS into a directory where a non-CVS version of the application already resides, and have CVS only update new or changed files. Is this even possible?
I thought "cvs export" might do this, but it complains that the existing files are "in the way". If what I'm asking for can't be done with CVS, I'd be glad to hear best practices for how to deploy new releases of web applications out of CVS (hosted on IIS, if that matters). - Jonathan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
