Dear All:
I wasn't able to create a module in my local
repository. I followed the instruction verbatim! I
am running from a local drive and once I imported an
emty or populated directory, I can't check it out
locally?? It keeps telling me the "Module" name can't
be found?
I ran the Admin comma
Dear All:
I have winCVS 1.13 installed locally on my machine.
For authentication I am using "Local" settings. I
have created a repository on network mapped drive
called R:\cvsrepos. That's where my CVSROOT is
defined.
Now, it seems that I can import a populated direcorty
into my CVSROOT success
Dear All:
U am trying to retrive older version of a file. In
CVS 1.10, I am using the "Selection Update" command
via WinCvs1.3 GUI. Every time an earlier version of
FILEX is retrieved, astick tag is attached to the
FILEX? Is there a way to disable this feature. I
have tried CVS UPDATE -A comma
It is preventing us from retrieving an earlier version
of the file to make changes to that particular source
code. The question that probably begs it self, could
I undue changes recursivly to a earlier versions of
file x.
Thanks,

Dear All:
Please tell me why after importing a populated module
in CVS, and after checking-out that module to a
working directory I get this message after running the
"Get the cvs modules" command:
No module entries found! Consult your repository's
admin.
I can work on the files in the module,
Thanks Larry for your response, here is my dump
questions! How do I update the CVROOT\Module by hand?
Are there an instruction in the manual?
Thanks,

All:
I have imported a populated directory into my
respository. I work on WinCVS 1.3. The files (*.doc
and *.fmb) imported fine. When I tried to checkout
the files, I get only 1KB of file sizes?
I run on pserver authentication mode, does this have
to do any thing with admin privilages? Pleas
But , the WinCVS is already installed on the server.
Beside, there was only one *.exe to install the WinCVS
on the w2k server.
Thanks,

Does the size of the directory being imported matters!
Because I imported 245MB of data. I did force text on
*.fmb and *.pll could this be the reason!

All:
I have an issue of unediting a file that has been
committed to the repository from the workspace. I
tried to execute the following command:
cvs unedit "Training in CVS.xls
But it didn't put the file in "unedit" mode. It stcuk
in edit. I ran update, and queried the file, but to
no avail.
