and checked that I can use cvs
locally on the server, which I can so it must be the pserver set up
thats wrong. The server is running Redhat 6.2. Can anyone think what
I might have missed or forgotten to do.

e ideal is if cvs
could be set so that only certain people (senior developers) had
permissions to delete files. I am new to CVS and Linux, I apologise
if this is an obvious question.

this is probably a fairly easy question.
When you do an update using winCVS what does the "p "
message mean that come up in blue text in the status window. I guess
it means preserved but I can't confirm it.

Hello,
Is it possible to restore files that have accidently been deleted,
and placed in the attic back into the main trunck. I have tried just
coping the files from the attic back to the original location but
WinCVS still cannot see them.
