Hi,
the project I'm working in is thinking of moving to CVS. Currently we use
SCCS - this was fine in the past, where we only worked on the latest version
of our code. Now however, we have three versions. The first two versions are
existing releases that are being maintained - the latest version is our
current development.

At some point then, the changes we make to our maintenance code will need
rolled up into our current development. Is CVS the correct CM tool for doing
this? I figured that by using the CVS merge command, the maintenance code
changes could be easily rolled up into out current development. Does this
seem sensible?

Thanks for your time!
