Ok, in order to resolve my template issues, i set up my local CVS
client and server...i am quiet a newbie at that, so please bear with
me. In order to populate my new repository i tried importing already
existing directories, but after a check out every time i'd try to
commit changes to a file *from the imported directory* i'd get

cvs [commit aborted]: cannot rename file
c:\cvsroot/usr/local/bin/,lcl.txt, to
c:\cvsroot/usr/local/bin/lcl.txt,v: File exists

i figured it's probably an issue with import, so i've imported an
empty directory structure and tried adding files. The first commit
went fine, and my revision # went up to 1.2. However, when i've
edited the same file again and tried commiting the changes i got the
same:

cvs [commit aborted]: cannot rename file
c:\cvsroot/usr/local/bin/,lcl.txt, to
c:\cvsroot/usr/local/bin/lcl.txt,v: File exists

error message.

Does anybody understand what's going on? i am running 1.1b15 client
and nt server...my root is c:/cvsroot...preferences configured to use
CVS-1.10(NT server) and Local mounted directory...

TIA, Julia
