Make cvs checkout ignore patterns

Is there any way to do a cvs checkout ignoring some patterns, say *.gmo *.mo *.po? That's what I want. I did the following: cvs co -r mutt-1-3-12-rel mutt What I want is to never download the *.po files that are stored in mutt/po/. There's a mutt/po/.cvsignore with *.gmo, but it's of no use to

Not really. .cvsignore is used to specify files to ignore which haven't been checked in yet. You might be able to do something with modules definitions, but there are other reasons to avoid that and I don't think you can use a pattern. Derek -- Derek Price CVS Solutions Ar
