I'm looking for the original CVS shell scripts that were written to interact with RCS.
Is there a quick link I can go to that has the archived scripts? Mostly for
historical reasons, I'd like to read the code and see how the developers originally
envisioned their needs.

They were posted to the mod.sources Usenet newsgroup by Dik Grune

this point. Grune's "historian" is an alpha-quality attempt to track
actual configurations, which the Berliner implementation has never done well.
