I figured it out. Sometimes you have to beat your head against a wall
for a while before you see the obvious, or slightly obvious.
The BerkeleyDB installed most (if not everything) into
/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.../

I use sieve without homedirectory.
When i create my sieve script with vacation, it's just work one time. If
i want to reactive it, i must change the vacation's reason.

In outlook express you need to set the root mailbox to INBOX (all caps).
I forget exactely where it is in the dialog boxes, but it should be
there somewhere.

works, look at your permission/user/group.
