Simon,
Your 2.2.3 src.rpm have a dependency on cyrus-sasl-devel >= 2.1.15-1. Do you
have a src.rpm for that. I am trying to build on Redhat 9.

Hello,
I've not seen anything per se myself. We've set up a shared folder
service here at NCSU. Things to be aware of are the form of the
email address to deliver to the shared mailbox/folder, permissions
to allow the mail delivery to occur, ie. give the user anyone an
ACL with at least p in it. S
Awesome!!. I was actually just getting ready to test the beta RPMS.. But
this is awesome.
Thanks Simon, and keep up the good work..

This would suggest that your user cyrus cannot open the file
/etc/imapd.conf.
Does this file exist, and does the user cyrus have sufficient
permissions to read the file ?

I did the same here, so I can use mutt, kmail, evolutio, webmail, etc.

Hi all,
I am trying to migrate my Kmail maildata to a Cyrus/imap setup to be
more front-end independent.
I can move a lot of messages over to cyrus but now I have come to a
sudden halt. It seems that Cyrus refuses to accept a lot of old mail
messages. I did an ethereal on the connection and cyrus

Thanks guys for getting Cyrus IMAPD 2.2.3 out!!!
I have a few domains which I created with 2.1.16 so I would like to
convert them over. I just wonder if there is a way to transfer the
mailboxes from the server, or do I have to create two cyrus accounts
and then use the MUA to move the messages

we're migrating from a sendmail system which used to map all usernames
to their lowercase equivalent. Now on my postfix+cyrus(lmtp) system
I seem to have lost this behaviour ... I'm sure it's something simple
but I'm not sure whether the option is part of postfix or cyrus ...

It seems that in the end it was client's fault. Maybe pine and mutt use
some common imap library, because they behaved in the same way. If
pine/mutt is run under same username as used i

That was it. It seems to work fine now.

hi there
our clients have huge mailboxes with huge folders and
1 of mails. so I want them to archive their mails.
As I don't know every mailclient, I would like to offer
them that I archive their mails directly under
/var/spool/imap/user>.
I was googeling around, but could not find anything
