Evening everyone.
I wanted to get some feedback regarding our setup at our company.
We are currently running a FreeBSD 4.9 server, with Cyrus-SASL-2.1.7,
Cyrus-Imapd-2.2.3 and Sendmail 8.12.11. Everything is working quite well
and I am very happy with it.
I am currently keeping all of the users

Hi everybody,
I'm writing a script in Python and I'm bit confused.
I would like to get some information from a Cyrus server
in order to do some administrative task, such as balance
users in partitions.
What I need is...

How do I get all name of partitions, it size and disk usage fro
Hi,
Make this 'sasl_mech_list: PLAIN' in imapd.conf, it's what you want.
Then, check your LDAP tree. You told us that you can authenticate as
another user but not as cyrus, so I'm quite sure there is a significant
difference between those users in your tree.
And then, you said that you are using

Hi Everyone I have a brief question. I have read in archives that some
users here use XFS for Cyrus imap server but I am wondering what tricks
they use to fine tune XFS for imap server purposes. For example XFS is
meant for large files and directories but I am curius if it performs

The POP3 timeout is specified by the RFC --
I cannot get the cyrus user to authenticate using either
imtest or cyradm. I can authenticate all other normal
users using imtest.
I am using Simon's rpms for sasl and imap on RHES3.

I am using LDAP authentication using saslauthd -ldap.
I'm using the unified-imap branch of the source to share my mail spool
with several systems on an IBM GPFS SAN.
When I create a mailbox in Cyradm, the following happens:

I think what you are looking for can be found in:

pop3d.c
If you search those files for poptimeout you get:
/* Set inactivity timer */
timeout = config_getint("poptimeout", 10);
if (timeout < 10) timeout = 10;
I'd imagine that that the 10 is the default, minimum time li

After rebuilding a new email server and moving over the imap store to
the new one i get many messages in my imapd.log.
This always happens when i restart my mail server and it looks like the
