I am having trouble authenticating to Cyrus IMAP using the pop3s port.
I would like to use SSL/TLS and pop for my user community.
I am using Berkeley DB as my database store (v. 4.2.52).
Are there separate databases that store id/pass information? I have
assumed up to now that

We've put a new Cyrus (2.2.2-BETA) server into production, and have
built a frontend that allows customers to add/delete users etc. (some
php, sql etc. thrown together).
There are now 28 seperate domains with their own domain admin, so the
'admins:' entry in imapd.conf has turned

Is there a way to do PLAIN from the frontends to the backends? The
servers I am testing are on a isolated network no network traffic other than
the mail servers. Any help would be appreciated. sasl_maximum_layer:0 didn't
seem to change the pop3 proxy timing. The server are also dual 1.4s

It seems that the delay is in the connection. I have played with the backlog
queue, the max child, and prefork settings without being able to make it any
faster. I am logging in a doing a list command. The mailboxes are all empty
so I am not thinking that once the connection is authed it is slow.

I don't know if this problem is related to the Unified mupdate mods, or
mupdate in general.
When I do an lm, I can see a mailbox, but when I tried to delete it, I

I have just installed the Cyrus Woody Backport. It is mostly/partly
working. The IMAP server comes up and I am able to authenticate using
LDAP. The first problem that I saw was when I attempted to copy messages
from another IMAP server (PMDF MessageStore) to my new mailbox on Cyrus.
I ended up nuking the contents of the /var/imap and /var/spool/imap and rebuilding them, which appears to have solved the problem. I'm guessing there was some crud in the way that was confusing it.
