We have just started implementing a Cyrus mail system to replace a UW one.
Anyway, I've managed to make a silly mistake which we can resolve by
installing from scratch. However, I wonder if someone can explain how to
solve the problem properly as starting from scratch won't be possible

My cyrus-imap-2.1.16 installation was done by a FreeBSD port package
install. I don't remember setting any password, so what is or how do I
reset the password for the 'cyrus' user for cyradm?

I'm pretty sure. Before writing my C script, it was giving me an error
that it must be ran by the user 'cyrus'. Now, in the script, it set
