Hello all. Just starting to configure Cyrus and convert all of my
mbox files to it. I was wondering, is it the norm these days to use
"unixhierarchysep:yes"? Are there any modern email clients that
don't work either with it or without it?
Thanks

What have I done wrong, upon executing master for the first time I got
this from my logs:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# tail -f /var/log/messages
Oct 20 20:08:48 localhost ctl_cyrusdb[29901]: DBERROR: error listing
log files: Invalid argument

I compiled Berkeley DB 4.2.52. I also succesfully build sendmail, sasl and
openldap against this version installed in /spare/local.
But I am having problems getting cyrus-imap to use this version.
I tried:
env "CPPFLAGS=-I/spare/local/include -I/usr/kerberos/include"
"LDFLAGS=-L/spare/local/lib"

No stock version of Cyrus has ever supported LDAP for quotas.

Oracle Collaboration suite has a plugin that lets you use Outlook but
talk to a Unix/Linux box. Works with Cyrus too.

Does cyrus
2.1.16 support LDAP quota ? or
should I apply a (un)official patch (I found one on sourceforge
but for older versions) ?
An application written by another group is sending messages which our
(embarrassingly old) installation of Silkymail has trouble reading.
The last time we had a problem like this it turned out to be an older
version of Eudora sending incorrectly formatted mime headers.
Can anyone find anything wro

Hi,
Does anyone know where are inbox folders created by cyrus-imap(v2.2)?
I want to use self-learning command from spamassassin to learn from

You should consider Sun Java Calendar with the Outlook connector.

I just wanted to say that people should not forget that you can't compare
corporate usage with things like a university. I usually expect the

Well, re. concurrent connections, it's hard to tell, but if I guess that
about 5000 users
are checking their mail-boxes approximately at the same time ? ...
mailbox sizes are
not specified yet, but I'll guess that 50 Megs should do, because the
users are for the
most part POP3 users.

Hi list.
We are looking into the possibility of setting up the Cyrus IMAP Aggregator
(http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/ag.html) for a company. They have about

IT may or may not be enough, but Mozilla Calendar (sunbird)
