The autocreate patch is fully functional when using virtual domains. Your imapd.conf seems to be ok. Nevertheless, autocreate is triggered when a user logs in and the inbox does not exist. In any case, it does not work when cyrus administrator creates the mailbox using cyradm. Christos Robin

That depends on budget and amount of data :-). Most simple stuff include rsyncing /var/spool/cyrus to another location Or you can use Bacula backup software (where you can do various scheduling of tasks, etc.) Or you can use snapshoting on disk storage which can vary from using LVM (on Linux)
