I have a postfix server delivering mail to my cyrus imap server. I have
the aliases setup on the smtp server and things seem to be fine with
postfix. But I keep getting bounced messages and errors in the log that
point to something with the imap server.

websrvr,
I know you've posted before, but how about a bit more detail on the
environment? What client are you using? What do you mean by vanish? Does
it simply cease to exist on the server, or is your client set up to hide
"read" email?
Thanks,

It doesn't matter if I use POP or IMAP, the results are the same, any

We are moving to cyrus/postfix. I have moved one of our other servers
already so I have most of it working.
The issue is that we have one domain with a lot of users and they
currently authenticate with just their user names and we'd like to not
have to make them all change their settings.
